SOC Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and analytical SOC Analyst with a strong understanding of infrastructure and security operations to join our Security Operations team.

This role goes beyond basic security monitoring. You will work closely with various technical teams to understand their services and infrastructure, develop relevant security use cases, and create tailored detection rules and alerts. Given our infrastructure environment, strong knowledge of Linux-based systems and containerized environments is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with technical teams to understand their services, infrastructure, and security requirements and translate them into relevant security use cases and alerts.
• Design, develop, tune, and optimize security detection rules based on a strong understanding of operating systems, particularly Linux, network infrastructure, and system architecture.
• Monitor, analyze, and investigate security events and incidents.
• Analyze logs to identify suspicious behavior, attack patterns, anomalies, and potential security threats.
• Participate in Threat Hunting activities and analyze adversary tactics and techniques using the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Participate in the investigation and response to security incidents and contribute to identifying root causes and appropriate remediation actions.
• Provide on-call support for critical security incidents outside regular working hours when required. This position does not involve a fixed night shift, but participation in the on-call rotation is required.
• Recommend corrective actions and contribute to the continuous improvement of SOC tools, detection capabilities, and security monitoring processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in security event and incident analysis within a SOC environment.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments, including log analysis and Linux security concepts.
• Good understanding of Kubernetes and Docker, including container architecture and security considerations in Kubernetes environments.
• Strong knowledge of computer networking, infrastructure components, and network security concepts.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams to gather requirements, investigate incidents, and resolve security-related issues.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong teamwork skills and a continuous-learning mindset in cybersecurity.
• Experience in SOC Engineering or Detection Engineering is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash is considered an advantage.
