Job Description
EcoTrust is a small, fast-moving team. This role owns a domain end to end: the metrics that describe it, the reports and dashboards built on top of it, and the pipelines that feed it.

- Define metrics and get stakeholders aligned on what they mean and how they're calculated.
- Write reports and form a data-backed point of view — not just present numbers, but reason from them.
- Build dashboards: make sure they're refreshed with the right data, and make sure the people using them actually understand what they're looking at.
- Build ad hoc data pipelines as needed. We'll teach you how — what we need from you is willingness to learn and to own what you build for as long as it's in use.
- Maintain the documentation for your domain. This is what the company's internal Claude draws on when people ask it questions about your area's data.
- Stay consistent with the team's metric definitions and working standards, and contribute to them when something's missing or wrong.
What you should bring
- Ability to analyze a business problem: reason about why a target was missed, or where a metric fails to capture what it's supposed to measure.
- Strong understanding of SQL. You should be able to explain, for example, why a UNION ALL would beat a window function on performance grounds — it doesn't matter if you'd need to look up the exact syntax. ClickHouse experience is a plus.
- Strong Python for data analysis. Comfortable handling data in pandas — you don't need to be able to write a neural network from scratch in numpy.
- Ability to manage your own stakeholders. You'll handle that relationship directly; looping in your supervisor is for when something's gone off track, not a regular occurrence.
