E-commerce Content & Operations Specialist

We are an e-commerce company specializing in electronics and robotics components, and we are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and AI-savvy person to join our team.
In this role, you will help keep our online stores accurate, well-presented, and well-optimized.

A significant part of our product creation, content production, SEO work, and other processes is handled by AI and automation. Your role will therefore focus mainly on reviewing, correcting, quality-checking, and publishing the results.

You do not need to do everything manually. We value good judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to identify mistakes made by AI more than simply doing things the traditional way.

Responsibilities

1. Product Creation & Management
   • Collect and prepare product information from suppliers, including technical specifications, images, prices, and categories.
   • Run our automated product-creation workflow and review the generated product in the website admin panel.
   • Carefully verify technical specifications, pricing, images, categories, links, and other product information before publishing.
   • Correct errors and complete missing information when necessary.
2. Content Review & Publishing
   • Review AI-generated content in both Persian and English for accuracy, writing quality, tone, and formatting.
   • Identify and correct factual, grammatical, and formatting errors.
   • Check internal links and make sure they are relevant and working correctly.
   • Approve and publish content on the website.
3. AI-Assisted SEO: Use AI tools to analyze pages and generate SEO recommendations, including:

• • Meta titles and descriptions
  • Headings
  • Image alt text
  • Internal linking
  • Other on-page SEO improvements
  • Critically review AI recommendations and make sure they are accurate, natural, and relevant before applying them.
  • Implement approved SEO changes on the website.
  • Monitor Google Search Console and report issues such as indexing errors, broken pages, and other problems.
  • Follow the SEO checklist provided by the manager and suggest improvements to the process.

• • Create approximately 3 banners or slideshow images per week using AI image-generation tools and Canva.
  • Prepare graphics that match the website's visual style and requirements.
  • Upload the images to the website and verify that they display correctly on both desktop and mobile.

• • Conduct occasional research and small data-related tasks.
  • Fix product and catalog data when necessary.
  • Clean up and organize product catalogs.
  • Document processes and keep checklists up to date.
  • Identify and report AI errors and automation failures to the manager.

• • Respond to emails and chats from international customers.
  • Use AI-generated draft responses and review and correct them before sending.
  • Make sure responses are accurate, polite, natural, and appropriate for the customer's question.
  • Forward issues that require a management decision or further investigation to the manager.

Required Skills

• Good command of written and spoken English, sufficient for professional content and customer communication.
• Good written Persian and the ability to identify and correct writing mistakes.
• Experience with an e-commerce CMS or online store platform such as Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify, OpenCart, or WordPress, and the ability to learn a new platform quickly.
• Magento 2 experience is not required. We will provide training.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to catch incorrect specifications, prices, links, images, and categories.
• Regular experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools.
• Ability to write effective prompts and, more importantly, recognize incorrect or hallucinated AI output.
• Basic Google Sheets and spreadsheet skills.
• A polite, calm, and professional communication style.

Preferred Skills
The following are advantages but are not required:

• Basic knowledge of SEO, including meta tags, headings, internal linking, and Google Search Console.
• Experience with Canva or basic image-editing tools.
• Experience with AI image-generation tools.
• Interest in or knowledge of electronics, robotics, or electronic components.
• Ability to read and understand datasheets and technical product specifications.
• Previous experience in e-commerce, content management, or customer support.

Important Note
You do not need to have all of the technical skills above when you start. We will train you on our internal tools, processes, Magento, and automation workflows.
