Staff Machine Learning Engineer

We are looking for a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to lead the technical direction of complex ML problems and help establish reliable, scalable, and reusable ML solutions across our AI products. You will combine deep technical expertise with hands-on development, technical leadership, and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead modeling strategies and technical approaches for complex ML problems.
• Design experiments, evaluation frameworks, and production-oriented ML solutions.
• Train, fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize advanced ML models.
• Drive standards for model quality, reproducibility, robustness, and reliability.
• Identify and solve technical challenges related to performance, latency, cost, and scalability.
• Design reusable ML pipelines, tools, and engineering patterns.
• Collaborate with Backend, Data Engineering, and DevOps on ML system architecture and deployment.
• Review technical approaches and mentor ML Engineers.
• Challenge unsupported technical claims and recommend changes when evidence indicates unacceptable performance or risk.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in Machine Learning Engineering.
• Deep understanding of ML modeling, evaluation, and optimization.
• Strong Python skills and experience with modern ML frameworks.
• Experience designing and operating production ML systems.
• Strong understanding of ML system architecture, inference, monitoring, and MLOps.
• Proven ability to solve ambiguous, technically complex problems independently.
• Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, and influencing engineering practices.
