Core Responsibilities:
- Smart Device & Wearable Development: Proven track record in designing and developing smart wearables (e.g., smart rings) and various IoT smart devices.
- Wireless Connectivity & BLE Implementation: Expert-level proficiency in designing and implementing Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communications. This includes ensuring stable connectivity with iOS and Android applications while optimizing for ultra-low power consumption and efficient multi-node data exchange.
- Hardware Interfacing & Serial Protocols: Extensive experience working with hardware interfaces and serial protocols, specifically UART (as well as I2C and SPI), for integrating sensors and communication modules.
- Firmware Development: Mastery of C/C++ for firmware development on various microcontrollers and BLE-enabled SoCs (e.g., Nordic nRF52 series, ESP32, STM32, etc.).
- BLE Architecture & Optimization: Comprehensive understanding of BLE architecture (including GATT, GAP, Services, and Characteristics), managing robust connections with mobile platforms (iOS/Android), and power management optimization for wearable devices.
- Advanced Serial Communication: Hands-on experience in implementing and debugging UART-based protocols (e.g., AT Commands, data framing, Ring Buffers, and utilizing DMA/Interrupts).
- IoT Ecosystem & Testing: Proficiency in wireless communication testing and validation, with familiarity with broader IoT networking protocols (e.g., MQTT/Wi-Fi) where applicable.
