About the Role

We’re looking for a Videographer & Video Editor to join the ValGold Atelier team—someone with a strong visual eye who can turn an idea into a well-crafted, engaging video.

You should have a good understanding of framing, lighting, lenses, camera movement, and editing rhythm, and be comfortable owning the process from shot selection and filming through editing, color, sound, and final delivery.

A significant part of the work will be created for Reels and digital media, so speed, consistency, and the ability to produce high-quality content on a regular basis are important.

As part of our small creative team, we want you to contribute to the ideas behind the work, have a point of view on how they can be improved, take ownership of your output, and collaborate effectively with the rest of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Visual Development
  Contribute to creative ideas and help shape how concepts translate into strong, engaging video content.
• Filming & Cinematography
  Plan and capture footage with a strong understanding of framing, composition, lighting, lenses, camera movement, and shot selection.
• Editing & Post-Production
  Edit footage with a strong sense of pacing, rhythm, storytelling, and visual continuity, from rough cuts to final delivery.
• Color & Sound
  Handle basic color correction and grading, sound design, music, dialogue, and other post-production elements required for a polished final piece.
• Format Adaptation
  Create and adapt video content for Reels, Stories, ads, and other digital formats while maintaining the quality and intent of the original idea.
• Quality & Delivery
  Ensure final videos are polished, technically accurate, and ready for their intended platform and use case.
• Team Collaboration
  Work closely with Copywriters, Designers, Motion Designers, and the Social Media team to take ideas from concept to final execution.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio or showreel that demonstrates your ability to create well-crafted, engaging video content.
• Strong understanding of framing, lighting, lenses, camera movement, composition, and editing rhythm.
• Solid experience with video editing and post-production workflows.
• The ability to take a concept from shooting through editing, color, sound, and final delivery.
• A strong visual eye and the ability to make thoughtful decisions about shot selection, pacing, and storytelling.
• The ability to consistently produce polished content within fast-paced social media timelines.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, creative thinking, and the ability to collaborate and refine work based on feedback.

Nice to Have

• Experience with photography alongside video.
• Experience creating content specifically for Reels, social media, and digital advertising.
• Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, or compositing.
• Experience working on advertising campaigns or digital products.
