Motion Graphic Designer (WallGold)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Motion Graphic Designer to join the ValGold Atelier team—someone with a strong foundation in visual design and a standout skill in motion.

In this role, you’ll work across the entire process, from concept development and style frames to animation and final delivery for social media, campaigns, and digital platforms.

We expect motion to do more than simply make things move. It should support the story, rhythm, and impact of the idea. You should also be able to adapt a concept into formats designed for different platforms while maintaining a consistent level of design and execution quality across all versions.

Key Responsibilities

• Visual Concept Development
  Contribute to ideation and translate briefs into style frames, storyboards, and motion concepts.
• Motion Production
  Design and produce motion graphics, 2D animation, kinetic typography, and short-form video assets for social media and campaigns.
• Motion Language & Brand Identity
  Help develop consistent and recognizable motion formats, patterns, and principles for ValGold.
• Format Adaptation
  Adapt a concept or key visual into platform-specific versions for Reels, Stories, ads, and other digital formats.
• Quality Control
  Review timing, pacing, text legibility, audio and visuals, aspect ratios, and technical specifications before delivery.
• Team Collaboration
  Work closely with Copywriters, Designers, Videographers, and the Social Media team to take ideas from concept to final execution.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio or showreel that demonstrates your motion skills, timing, rhythm, and personal contribution to projects.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects and the tools required to design and prepare visual assets.
• A solid understanding of motion principles, 2D animation, transitions, and visual storytelling.
• Strong visual design skills, including composition, typography, color, and visual hierarchy.
• The ability to consistently deliver polished, detail-oriented work within fast-paced social media timelines while maintaining quality across multiple formats.
• Strong ideation skills, attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to collaborate and refine work based on feedback.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing a motion identity or a system of motion formats for a brand.
• Familiarity with 3D, illustration, or compositing.
• Experience creating motion for advertising campaigns and digital products.
