Knowledge Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute knowledge management directives across departments.
• Guide knowledge management processes within units.
• Identify and manage organizational changes.
• Develop strategies for sustaining knowledge management within the company.
• Prepare and present annual plans for administrative and operational knowledge management structures.
• Identify necessary updates to improve performance and modernize the knowledge management system.
• Monitor system activities and ensure evaluators and knowledge workers respond appropriately in the knowledge repository.
• Address user inquiries regarding the knowledge management system (e.g., registering knowledge, participating in expert forums).
• Conduct training sessions related to the knowledge management system.
• Develop procedures and performance indicators for knowledge leaders and expert forums.
• Review strategies, overarching goals, and annual objectives, and present them to the team leader.
• Collaborate on updating the model, strategies, and plans for knowledge management.

Requirements

• Familiarity with needs assessment, development, and updating of knowledge management systems.
• Knowledge of promoting a knowledge management culture.
• Proficiency in knowledge management tools and techniques.
• Expertise in documentation principles and writing.
• Experience in developing and implementing knowledge management strategies.
• Ability to identify opportunities and improve processes to enhance knowledge management growth.
• Understanding of knowledge management frameworks (policies, processes, and KM systems).
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and business processes; experience in IT-related roles is a plus.
