What You'll Drive Forward

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services that support Tapsi Garage's products and operational workflows. You'll work on cloud-native, distributed systems, collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, and contribute to architectural decisions and engineering standards.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
• Design and implement distributed and event-driven systems for automotive service and operational workflows
• Build reliable and scalable services for high-volume transactions and real-time business processes
• Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
• Utilize technologies such as Redis, RabbitMQ, NATS, and Kafka where appropriate for asynchronous and distributed processing
• Design and implement inter-service communication using gRPC and RESTful APIs
• Deploy, manage, and scale services in Kubernetes / OpenShift environments
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, production issues, and scalability challenges
• Contribute to system architecture, engineering standards, and best coding practices
• Mentor engineers and help raise the technical quality of the backend engineering team

What Powers Your Drive

• 5+ years of backend software development experience, with strong experience in Golang
• Strong understanding of designing and developing high-performance, scalable distributed systems
• Solid experience with debugging, performance optimization, profiling, and bottleneck analysis
• Hands-on experience with asynchronous messaging and event-driven architectures using technologies such as RabbitMQ, NATS, or Kafka
• Experience with synchronous communication mechanisms such as gRPC and RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes / OpenShift and containerized environments
• Strong understanding of building fault-tolerant, reliable, and resilient services
• Experience working with databases, caching systems, and distributed data-processing patterns
• Strong ownership, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced product and engineering environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems
• Experience in automotive, mobility, marketplace, logistics, or service-platform products
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, and modern observability practices
• Experience with CI/CD and production infrastructure
• Experience designing systems that handle high traffic, high concurrency, or real-time workloads
