Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central Developer

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central Developer to join our IT and ERP team.
The primary focus of this role is the development, customization, implementation, and support of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions based on the company’s business requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of ERP concepts, business processes, databases, and software development.
Experience with Power BI and data analytics will be considered an important complementary skill for developing management dashboards and analytical reports based on ERP data.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective ERP solutions.
• Develop new features, modules, reports, pages, workflows, and extensions.
• Customize existing NAV / Business Central functionalities based on operational and business needs.
• Develop and maintain solutions using C/AL and/or AL programming languages.
• Support implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and upgrade activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues within NAV / Business Central.
• Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, Operations, and other business units to understand and improve ERP-related processes.
• Design and optimize integrations between NAV / Business Central and other enterprise systems.
• Work with SQL Server, databases, queries, and data structures related to ERP systems.
• Prepare technical documentation for developed solutions and customizations.
• Support users and provide technical guidance when required.
• Participate in continuous improvement and digitalization of business processes.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Experience in NAV / Business Central development and customization.
• Knowledge of C/AL and/or AL programming.
• Good understanding of Microsoft SQL Server and relational databases.
• Understanding of ERP architecture and core business processes.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot ERP-related technical issues.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills (Advantage):
• Experience migrating or upgrading Dynamics NAV to Business Central.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience developing Business Central Extensions.
• Familiarity with Business Central APIs and Web Services.
• Experience integrating ERP systems with third-party applications.
• Familiarity with Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, and Project Management processes.
• Experience designing data models and BI solutions based on ERP data.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and system integration concepts.
• Experience with Git or other source-control platforms.
