The Senior Management Accountant provides the financial information and analysis that management needs to plan, control costs, and make decisions. They lead budgeting and forecasting, cost accounting, and management reporting, and turn financial data into clear insights on performance and profitability. The role reports to the Finance Manager and works closely with operations, sales, and other departments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare periodic forecasts
• Analyze variances between budgeted and actual results and explain key drivers
• Calculate and analyze product and service costs (cost of goods sold, overheads, cost allocation)
• Prepare monthly management reports and performance dashboards for senior management
• Define and monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs)
• Analyze profitability by product, customer, project, or business unit
• Support pricing decisions, investment appraisals, and feasibility studies
• Analyze cash flow and support working capital management
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements
• Coordinate with operational departments to collect and validate cost and performance data
• Guide and review the work of junior team members

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4 years of experience in management accounting, cost accounting, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting methods, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Familiarity with accounting standards and tax regulations
• Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables) and experience with ERP or accounting software
• Experience with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial managers
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and professional confidentiality
• Professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CIMA, ACCA) are a plus
