About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join the Tapsi Food team.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of our products. You will work closely with Product, Backend, Frontend, Mobile, and DevOps teams to identify risks, improve testing processes, and ensure high-quality releases.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve automated test suites.
• Perform API testing and validate backend services.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze logs and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Define and improve QA processes, standards, and quality gates.
• Design and maintain comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
• Investigate production issues and perform Root Cause Analysis.
• Design and execute Functional, Regression, Integration, API, and End-to-End tests.
• Analyze product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify potential risks.
• Identify, report, and track bugs throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor QA metrics and continuously improve test coverage and effectiveness.
• Participate in release planning and provide quality-related feedback and risk assessments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
• Proven experience working as a QA Engineer in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design, and QA best practices.
• Hands-on experience with both manual testing and test automation.
• Strong experience in API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Good programming skills in at least one language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker and distributed systems is a plus.
• Experience with performance, load, and reliability testing is a plus.
• Experience testing high-traffic or transaction-heavy systems is a strong plus.
