Milli Group is looking for a capable and experienced Senior Java Developer to play a key role in the development, improvement, and maintenance of the core software powering its products.
In this position, you will contribute to designing and developing Backend services and modules based on Java and Spring, improving architecture and code quality, solving complex technical problems, and increasing system stability and performance.
This role focuses on Software Engineering, architecture and code quality, performance, stability, and the maintainability of large-scale Backend systems.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Backend services and modules using Java and Spring
• Contribute to the design and improvement of software architecture
• Develop maintainable and testable code in accordance with Clean Code and SOLID principles
• Implement data access layers using JPA and Hibernate
• Optimize queries, indexes, and transactions
• Analyze and resolve issues related to performance, concurrency, and resource utilization
• Conduct code reviews, perform refactoring, and reduce technical debt
• Design and implement unit tests and integration tests
• Investigate production issues and perform root cause analysis of technical incidents
• Contribute to improving CI/CD, deployment, and release processes
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and other technical teams

Skills and Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Backend development with Java
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework
• In-depth experience with JPA and Hibernate
• Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Design, SOLID, Design Patterns, and Clean Code
• In-depth understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and thread safety
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing
• Ability to perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and solve complex problems
• Ability to work with large codebases and contribute to refactoring initiatives
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps concepts
• Experience developing Enterprise, High-Traffic, or Transaction-Heavy systems
• Experience in Financial Services or FinTech
• Familiarity with Messaging and Event-Driven Architecture
• Experience working with Redis or other caching systems
• Familiarity with Observability, Logging, Metrics, and Distributed Tracing
• Ability to independently analyze problems and propose technical solutions
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams
