About the Role

As a Business Finance Partner, you will be responsible for owning SnappPay’s business planning and performance management processes, including business plans, monthly closing reports, P&L analysis, and cash flow forecasting. You will ensure consistency between actual performance and financial plans, investigate variances, and provide actionable insights to support informed decision-making. You will partner with the BNPL, Investment, and Insurance business lines, translating financial data into strategic recommendations for business leaders and the CEO.

Responsibilities

• Own SnappPay’s business planning and budgeting processes across business lines.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, closing packs, and P&L analyses.
• Monitor financial performance against plans, investigate variances, and provide actionable insights.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and support financial planning and decision-making.
• Partner with the BNPL, Investment, and Insurance business lines to analyze performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to business leaders and the CEO.

Requirements

• Financial modelling — Driver-based P&L, cash-flow and working-capital models; scenario and sensitivity analysis; clean, auditable model structure.
• Data skills — Advanced Google Sheets / Excel; working SQL to pull and reconcile own data. Power BI or a similar BI tool is a plus.
• Business judgment — Explains the why behind a number, not just the number; understands unit economics in lending, BNPL, payments or a comparable business.
