About the Role

We are looking for a talented and passionate Mid-Level Frontend Developer with strong experience in React.js, Next.js, and modern frontend technologies to join our engineering team.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern, scalable, high-performance web applications with a strong focus on user experience, code quality, and maintainability.

Our projects involve interactive dashboards, data-driven interfaces, complex user interactions, and geospatial visualization, including 2D and 3D maps.

We are not necessarily looking for someone who has already worked with every technology we use. We value developers with strong fundamentals, problem-solving abilities, and the willingness to learn and work with new technologies.

Experience with mapping or 3D visualization technologies is a strong advantage, but not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Build responsive, interactive, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, reusable, and maintainable components.
• Design scalable frontend architecture and reusable component systems.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Implement efficient state management and data-fetching strategies.
• Develop complex dashboards, data visualizations, forms, and interactive user interfaces.
• Optimize application performance, rendering, loading times, and overall user experience.
• Handle authentication, authorization, routing, and error management.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and responsive behavior.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following modern frontend best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and product teams.
• Troubleshoot frontend issues and improve application reliability.
• Learn and contribute to geospatial and interactive visualization features, including 2D and 3D maps.

Required Technical Skills

1. Core Frontend Development

• Minimum 3 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Solid experience with React.js, React Hooks, component lifecycle, and modern React patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js, including routing, rendering strategies, and application structure.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, CSS Grid, and responsive design.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, Sass, or similar styling approaches.
• Understanding of component-based architecture, reusable components, and separation of concerns.
• Familiarity with Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and Client-Side Rendering (CSR).
• Ability to build maintainable and scalable frontend applications.

2. State Management & API Integration

• Experience with state management solutions such as Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or Context API.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous JavaScript, Promises, and async/await.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data.
• Familiarity with TanStack Query (React Query), SWR, or similar data-fetching solutions.
• Understanding of authentication flows, JWT, token handling, and protected routes.
• Ability to manage loading states, errors, caching, and complex application states.
• Familiarity with real-time communication technologies such as WebSockets is a plus.

3. UI/UX Implementation

• Ability to translate Figma designs into accurate, responsive, and production-ready interfaces.
• Experience building reusable UI components and maintaining consistent design systems.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with UI libraries such as MUI, Ant Design, shadcn/ui, or similar tools.
• Experience implementing interactive tables, forms, filters, modals, and dashboards.
• Attention to detail, usability, accessibility, and user experience.
• Familiarity with animation libraries such as Framer Motion (Motion) or GSAP is a plus.

4. Performance, Architecture & Code Quality

• Understanding of frontend architecture and scalable project structures.
• Experience with React performance optimization, memoization, lazy loading, and code splitting.
• Familiarity with Next.js performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
• Ability to debug complex frontend issues using browser developer tools.
• Understanding of frontend security fundamentals, including XSS prevention and secure authentication practices.
• Experience with Git, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Familiarity with unit and component testing using Jest, Vitest, or React Testing Library.
• Knowledge of end-to-end testing tools such as Playwright or Cypress is a plus.
• Understanding of clean code principles and maintainable software design.

2D & 3D Maps / Geospatial Visualization (Nice to Have)

Some of our projects involve interactive maps, geographic data, and advanced 2D/3D visualization.

Previous experience in this area is not mandatory. However, familiarity with any of the following is a strong advantage:

• Experience with interactive map libraries such as Mapbox GL JS, MapLibre GL JS, Leaflet, or OpenLayers.
• Familiarity with 3D mapping and visualization technologies such as CesiumJS, Three.js, or WebGL.
• Understanding of geographic data formats such as GeoJSON.
• Experience working with map layers, markers, polygons, coordinates, and geographic interactions.
• Familiarity with coordinate systems and geospatial data visualization.
• Experience building map-based dashboards, location-based applications, or GIS-related interfaces.
• Knowledge of 3D models, camera controls, rendering, and interactive visualizations.
• Ability and willingness to learn specialized mapping technologies when required.

We value strong frontend engineering skills and the ability to learn complex technologies more than previous experience with a specific mapping library.

Additional Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience developing complex SaaS applications, admin panels, or analytics dashboards.
• Familiarity with charts and data visualization libraries such as Recharts, ECharts, or D3.js.
• Knowledge of React Server Components and modern Next.js architecture.
• Experience with real-time applications and WebSocket integrations.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and frontend deployment processes.
• Understanding of backend concepts, API design, and client-server architecture.
• Familiarity with internationalization (i18n), localization, and RTL interfaces.
• Experience with large-scale applications or data-intensive user interfaces.
• Familiarity with AI-powered applications or integrating AI APIs into frontend experiences is a plus.
