We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who can help us build and scale the infrastructure behind Talano. Someone who thinks beyond keeping systems running, takes ownership of reliability and security, and enjoys solving complex engineering challenges alongside a collaborative team.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure for Talano's platform.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and automated software delivery.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, containerized workloads, and deployment environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and scaling using Infrastructure as Code.
• Build and improve monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting systems to ensure platform reliability.
• Implement security best practices across infrastructure, including access management, secrets, certificates, and network security.
• Design and test backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, improve system resilience, and optimize infrastructure costs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design reliable distributed systems and support application scalability.
• Lead incident investigations, conduct root cause analysis, and drive improvements to prevent recurring issues.
• Contribute to technical decisions, architecture reviews, and infrastructure documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration, networking, DNS, load balancing, routing, and firewalls.
• Experience operating databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis, including backup, replication, and high availability.
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and OpenTelemetry.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure security, secrets management, TLS/mTLS, and access controls.
• Experience designing disaster recovery solutions and working with RTO/RPO objectives.
• Good understanding of distributed systems, fault tolerance, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to take ownership, collaborate across teams, and make sound technical decisions.

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Background in FinTech, financial platforms, or other high-availability environments.
• Experience with infrastructure cost optimization.
• Scripting or programming experience with Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with security auditing and compliance requirements in financial systems.
