Role Overview
We are looking for a versatile Full-Stack Software Engineer to build and maintain end-to-end web applications across our frontend and backend systems, with a strong emphasis on automation. In this role, you will write clean, scalable code and take ownership of our continuous integration and delivery workflows using GitLab CI/CD. You will bridge application engineering and deployment automation, ensuring fast, dependable releases from development to production.

Key Responsibilities
Full-Stack Development: Build and maintain clean, performant web applications across the entire stack—from responsive frontend interfaces to robust backend services and APIs.
GitLab CI/CD Automation: Design, configure, and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using .gitlab-ci.yml and GitLab Runners.
Containerization: Containerize applications using Docker to maintain environment parity across local development, staging, and production.
Code Quality & Testing: Integrate automated linting, unit/integration testing, and security checks directly into GitLab pipelines to prevent regressions.
Collaboration & Workflow: Manage merge requests (MRs), conduct peer code reviews, and maintain clear technical documentation within GitLab.

Requirements & Qualifications
Full-Stack Engineering Experience: Proven track record of developing and deploying production-grade applications across both frontend and backend architectures.
Frontend Skills: Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and standard UI frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Svelte) alongside semantic HTML and CSS.
Backend & Database Skills: Solid foundation in server-side technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Go) and hands-on experience designing relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases.
GitLab & CI/CD Expertise:
Strong hands-on experience writing and optimizing GitLab CI/CD pipeline configurations (.gitlab-ci.yml).
Understanding of pipeline caching, artifacts, multi-stage builds, and runner setup.
Deep familiarity with Git and GitLab-specific workflows (branching strategies, merge requests, review environments).
Containerization: Practical experience creating efficient, multi-stage Dockerfiles and managing multi-container setups with Docker Compose.
Technical English (Reading Comprehension): Ability to read and understand technical documentation, API references, library source manuals, and research/technical papers in English.

Preferred Qualifications
Linux Fundamentals: Practical knowledge of Linux server environments, standard CLI tools, and shell scripting (Bash).
AI & Optimization Algorithms: Working knowledge or academic familiarity with AI/ML optimization techniques (e.g., heuristic search, genetic algorithms, gradient-based optimization, or model inference acceleration).
Security & Performance: Understanding of API security protocols (OAuth2, JWT), rate limiting, and caching systems (e.g., Redis).
