USO Project Coordinator

Mission
• To coordinate Microwave expansion and transmission-related projects under the Project Manager’s guidance, as defined by NWG and internal customers, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Education
• B.Sc. in Project Management / Engineering or related.
• Fluent in English.
Experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Project Management, with experience in supervising others.
• Experience working in a medium-sized organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Support the identification, development, and maintenance of required PM and reporting tools.
• Coordinate with external organizations and partners for activities related to assigned projects.
• Maintain full awareness of assigned project status, progress, and plans, and support the Project Manager in managing PM tasks.
• Continuously monitor the project to ensure each stage is progressing on time, within budget, and to the right quality standards; escalate key risks to the Project Manager based on defined standards.
• Report project progress and key measures/KPIs to Rollout Infrastructure Management based on defined templates and standards.
• Follow up to ensure execution of the assigned project within defined timelines by conducting meetings with vendors/subcontractors and reviewing their progress reports.
• Interact with the Project Steercom and project members to ensure project execution is not compromised.
• Facilitate effective coordination across project streams to handle dependencies and resolve project bottlenecks.
• Support the PSO Department by providing requested information and documents on the assigned project.
• Implement change management on projects based on agreed standards and plans.
• Ensure project documents are complete and stored appropriately based on NW rollout infrastructure project management policies.
• Perform and coordinate administrative tasks related to the projects.
• Propose actionable plans to address issues identified in reports and meetings and track actions.
• Maintain strong collaboration with diverse teams and demonstrate continuous commitment to project follow-up, including full-time monitoring of high-priority projects such as the Reallocation Project.
