Logistics Area Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Logistics Area Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies for services and indirect materials to support our organization’s operations. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics processes, negotiation skills, and the ability to drive cost savings while maintaining quality and service levels.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for 3–7 distribution centers or agents in the country

• Periodic site visits

• Analyzing and monitoring cross-border logistics performance

• Managing new projects and new channel releases, and working on new supply strategies

• Liaising with various departments and regional offices for coordination

• Planning and executing process optimization for the team

• Conducting pricing and cost analysis

• Using data to evaluate performance and quality and to plan improvements

• Selection, recruitment, and onboarding of distribution agents

• Training and empowering teammates

• Supervising, guiding, and controlling procedures

• Preparing reports regarding the distribution flow

• Monitoring and tracking the progress of deliveries

• Guiding and controlling manpower

• Problem-solving regarding the company's policies and guidelines

• Reviewing agent performance and providing feedback and suggestions

• Ensuring client satisfaction through efficient departmental activities

• Conducting feasibility studies (including preparing presentations and implementing operational proposals)

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant supervisory experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, MBA, or related fields

• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Outstanding analytical and presentation skills

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
