Legal Operations and Collections
Azkivam | Strategy Analytics and Risk
Reports to: Business Analyst
Level: Junior individual contributor | 0 to 2 years of experience
Role purpose
We are hiring an analyst to make the work of our Legal department and installment collection teams visible and measurable. The role covers contract workflows and collection projects carried out by internal teams and external providers. Working under our Business Analyst, you will help establish reliable records, track progress, investigate gaps, and prepare reports that support follow-up and process improvement.
The initial priority is data gathering and process documentation. Reporting will develop as records become reliable, starting with practical registers and scheduled updates.
Main responsibilities
· Meet Legal and collection teams to document activities, handoffs, current records, missing information, and delays. Turn these findings into process maps and clear data requirements with your supervisor.
· Help implement shared templates, unique identifiers, status definitions, and update routines. Check completeness, resolve duplicates, and keep a log of missing or inconsistent information.
· Maintain a contract register covering requests, review stages, approvals, signatures, responsible owners, key dates, and obligations identified by Legal. Follow up on pending steps and approaching deadlines.
· Consolidate collection case records across internal teams and external providers. Track assignment history, actions, legal milestones, next steps, deadlines, and evidence of outcomes.
· Support collection project reviews by updating milestone and action trackers, recording decisions, following up with owners, and escalating overdue or blocked work to your Business Analyst.
· Prepare weekly reports on workload, progress, delays, data gaps, and collection results verified with Finance. Identify bottlenecks and support small process improvements approved by the responsible manager.
Candidate profile
This role suits an early-career analyst who enjoys understanding how work happens, organizing incomplete information, and following up until a record or task is clear. Strong graduates and candidates with relevant internships are welcome.
Required capabilities
· Practical Excel skills, including tables, filters, pivot tables, lookup formulas, and basic data cleaning. Ability to maintain accurate, structured records.
· Ability to break a process into steps, document findings clearly, and notice inconsistent numbers or missing information.
· Clear communication and dependable follow-up with colleagues and external providers, including people without a technical background.
· Attention to detail, responsible handling of confidential records, and willingness to learn legal and collection workflows.
Useful additional experience
Basic SQL, Power Query or Power BI; process mapping; or exposure to operations, collections, contracts, or project coordination; fluency in Python. A law degree, advanced programming, and credit-risk modeling experience are not required.
