About the Role
DG Shahr’s Marketing team is looking for a Senior Creative Copywriter to bring stronger creative thinking and sharper writing into campaigns and customer-facing communications. This role is focused on turning business and campaign briefs into memorable ideas, headlines, taglines, slogans, hooks, scripts, and channel-ready copy that can improve attention, engagement, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Creative & Copywriting
Develop Big Ideas, verbal concepts, campaign lines, slogans, headlines, taglines, hooks, CTAs, and supporting copy for integrated campaigns.
Turn campaign briefs, offers, and propositions into clear, distinctive, and persuasive messages rather than purely informational copy.
Create multiple messaging routes and copy variations for different audiences, offers, funnel stages, and channels.
Write copy for OOH/DOOH, digital ads, landing pages, CRM/SMS, social, video scripts, B2B materials, product or feature communications, and other marketing touchpoints.
Support naming, promotional mechanics, campaign themes, and offer framing when strong verbal thinking is required.
Rewrite and simplify complex product, credit, or financial propositions into customer-friendly and compelling language.
Creative Concept Development
Participate early in campaign ideation, not only after the visual concept or media plan is defined.
Work closely with the Art Director to develop integrated verbal and visual concepts for major campaigns.
Bring references, cultural insights, wordplay, storytelling, hooks, and fresh creative angles into campaign development.
Challenge weak or generic copy and propose stronger creative alternatives that remain on-brief and commercially relevant.
Build reusable messaging territories and copy frameworks for recurring campaign, product, or promotional themes.
Channel Adaptation & Copy Testing
Adapt the core campaign idea into channel-specific copy without losing the central message or creative quality.
Develop copy variants for A/B testing, performance creative, landing pages, CRM, and audience-specific communication.
Work with Performance and Campaign teams to learn from CTR, CVR, engagement, response, and conversion data and improve future copy.
Work with Retention to tailor copy to lifecycle stage and segment while Retention remains the owner of journey, trigger, timing, and audience logic.
Social & Content Creative Support
Support Social and Content teams with creative campaign copy, hooks, formats, and verbal ideas when needed.
Help elevate social storytelling and campaign-related content beyond purely informational or news-style writing.
Contribute copy and creative ideas for special social formats, launches, activations, and campaign moments.
This role does not own the social calendar, content strategy, publishing, community management, or overall communication plan. These remain under MarCom and the relevant channel owners.
Brand Voice & Cross-functional Collaboration
Write within DG Shahr’s Tone of Voice and apply the verbal direction defined by MarCom across customer-facing copy.
Help MarCom identify practical improvements to verbal guidelines based on real campaign and channel use, without owning Brand Voice strategy.
Work closely with Campaign & Growth on campaign objectives and messaging needs, and with the Art Director on verbal and visual concept integration.
Collaborate with Retention, Performance, Social, Product Marketing, Product, and Business teams when copy is needed for their customer-facing initiatives.
Ensure claims, offers, terminology, and customer promises are clear, consistent, and aligned with the approved brief.
AI-assisted Creative Writing
Use AI tools for ideation, research, copy exploration, variation, and production speed while maintaining original thinking and human judgment.
Use AI to explore more creative routes and message variations, not as a substitute for strong writing, editing, and creative decision-making.
Develop practical AI-assisted workflows for recurring copy tasks where they can improve speed without reducing quality or brand consistency.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in Copywriting, Creative Copywriting, Advertising, Content Writing, or a related creative role.
Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign ideas, headlines, slogans, taglines, scripts, advertising copy, and multi-channel creative work.
Excellent Persian writing skills with strong command of tone, rhythm, clarity, word choice, editing, and verbal creativity.
Ability to turn a business or campaign brief into a creative verbal concept rather than only executing requested text.
Experience writing for multiple formats such as digital ads, social, landing pages, CRM/SMS, video, OOH, and branded content.
Strong understanding of marketing objectives, customer journeys, and the role of copy across Awareness, Acquisition, Activation, and Conversion.
Ability to work closely with Art Directors, Designers, Campaign, MarCom, Social, Performance, and CRM teams.
Strong editing and proofreading skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple briefs and deadlines in a fast-paced marketing environment.
Working English proficiency for research, references, tools, and adapting international creative inspiration.
Nice to Have
Experience in Fintech, Lendtech, E-commerce, Technology, or high-growth consumer brands.
Experience in an advertising or creative agency and exposure to integrated campaign development.
Experience with performance-oriented copy testing and using campaign data to improve messaging.
Experience writing for financial, credit, installment, or other products that require simplifying complex propositions.
Practical experience using AI tools for ideation, research, variation, and creative writing workflows.
