IT Manager

We are looking for an IT manager who is responsible and reliable. We need an experienced person who has sufficient knowledge on passive and active sides of IT, server upkeep and maintenance, troubleshooting, UPS, CCTV, and access control management; is organized, and observes mission critical tasks within the dedicated timelines and costs.

The IT manager has significant impact on the efficiency of our operations and hence we are looking for a candidate with thorough experience and strong passion in playing an active role towards the company’s main missions.

Main Responsibilities:

•         Work in collaboration with our headquarters in Dubai in minimizing internal issues and down times.

•         Plan for, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic devices based on the company needs

•         Maintain reliable services to clients

•         Ensure data security as instructed by the policies

•         Manage IT staff and distribute work, set deadlines and report to company managers

•         Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time

•         Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed

•         Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups

•         Formulate policies and strategies related to IT, identify risks related to its process, and plan to respond to them.

 

Main Requirements:

•         English Proficiency

•         Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience

•         Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems

•         Strong creative and analytical thinking

•         Master's degree preferably in computer sciences

•         Full familiarity with VMware virtualization and complete mastery of EXSI

•         Proficient in backup procedures

•         Proficient in Windows Server, SQL Server and one Linux distributions

•         Proficient in Active and Passive network concepts

•         Familiarity with HP and Cisco hardware

•         Complete familiarity with the configuration of Linux and Windows and network services such as DNS and Webserver...

•         Mastery of Internet edge equipment such as firewalls and routers

•         Familiar with monitoring and ticketing tools

•         Proficient in Active Directory and user access levels

•         Proficient in the concepts of network security and maintenance

•         Complete mastery on VOIP and issabel software

•         Familiarity with Microsoft services and IIS web service

•         Familiarity with documentation methods

•         Proficient in antivirus server management and policy in Kaspersky software

•         Extensive experience in Help Desk tasks

•         Problem solving strategies

•         Required qualifications: MCITP – MCSE – CCNP
