Server Manager

General Responsibility:Serve as a Server Manager in Vafa's Information Technology Unit. Recommend, develop, configure, install, monitor, and support the company's server hardware and software. Manage server resources to ensure the availability of client/server applications, configuring new implementations, and developing processes and procedures for ongoing security and operations of the server environment. Assist in overseeing the integrity, and safety of the servers. Diagnose, resolve and document hardware and software server problems in a timely and accurate fashion.Specific Duties:Manage server hardware and software resources for efficient and effective performance of the company’s servers.Plan, organize and administer all database system activities to include creation of new databases and maintenance of existing databases. Maintain system integrity and compliance with IT standards. Monitor and measure the performance of all company’s databases.
