Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor Network Engineer to join our team. As a
Supervisor Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our
network infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the
smooth operation of our network systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong
technical expertise in network engineering, and familiarity with DevOps concepts.
Responsibilities:
• Designing and planning network infrastructure to meet the organization's current and future
needs.
• Evaluating and recommending hardware and software solutions to support network requirements.
• Implementing and managing security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access,
attacks, and vulnerabilities.
• Monitoring and responding to security incidents, conducting regular security audits, and
implementing security best practices.
• Troubleshooting network problems and collaborating with other teams to resolve complex
technical issues.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and
procedures.
• Developing and enforcing network policies.
• Developing and testing disaster recovery plans for network infrastructure.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in network engineering.
• Proficient in working with Linux, Windows Server, and HP servers.
• Experience with storage systems, including EMC SAN storage and Synology NAS storage.
• Managing network virtualization using VMware vSphere and ensuring high availability and
performance.
• Good experience with web application security, including FortiGate firewalls and FortiWeb.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching using Mikrotik, and Cisco
switches and routers.
• Good experience in Zabbix, Splunk, and monitoring protocols.
• Proficient in working with Veeam Backup.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and
resolving issues.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work in flexible hours and handle pressure during critical network incidents or
project deadlines.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and automation with bash, Python, or
Ansible is a plus.
