VoIP Specialist (FreeSwitch)

Position: VoIP Engineer (FreeSWITCH)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced VoIP Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FreeSWITCH and will be responsible for creating and maintaining our VoIP infrastructure, connecting numbers to the server, and providing support to our backend developers.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and maintain a robust VoIP system using FreeSWITCH
2. Configure and optimize FreeSWITCH servers to ensure high availability and performance
3. Connect and manage phone numbers on the FreeSWITCH server
4. Create and maintain a development environment for backend developers to build systems on top of FreeSWITCH
5. Provide technical guidance and support to backend developers working with FreeSWITCH
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VoIP infrastructure and FreeSWITCH
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in VoIP technology and FreeSWITCH
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of VoIP services with other systems

Requirements:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience working with FreeSWITCH and VoIP technologies
2. Strong knowledge of FreeSWITCH configuration, dialplan scripting, and SIP protocols
3. Experience in setting up and managing FreeSWITCH servers in a production environment
4. Familiarity with Linux server administration and shell scripting
5. Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, NAT, and firewalls
6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
7. Strong communication and collaboration abilities
8. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with FreeSWITCH modules and APIs
2. Knowledge of WebRTC and its integration with FreeSWITCH
3. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
4. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker
5. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PHP, or JavaScript
