We are seeking a talented and experienced Jira Administrator to join our team. The Jira Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, administration, and support of JIRA and its related plugins. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels.

Qualifications:

• Mid-level proficiency in Linux systems administration, including basic command-line operations, file system management, and user permissions.
• Ability to gather requirements for business processes and translate them into JIRA/Confluence/BitBucket configurations that optimize and improve workflow efficiency.
• Experience providing application support for JIRA and Confluence, including troubleshooting issues, resolving user inquiries, and coordinating with IT and other business units.
• Familiarity with JIRA APIs and webhooks for integrating JIRA with other systems and automating processes.
• Proven ability to work with business users to evaluate JIRA and Confluence plug-ins, determine licensing needs, and perform testing, installation, and configuration of plug-ins.
• Design skills to define complex JIRA workflows and related screen schemes for high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Proficiency in implementing custom-based JIRA gadgets to enhance project tracking and reporting capabilities.
• Experience supporting and configuring JIRA plugins to extend functionality and meet specific project needs.
• Ability to generate comprehensive documentation on implemented workflows and processes in JIRA to support runbooks and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Can create JIRA projects, queries, and reports to support project management and decision-making processes.
