Here at Smartech, we are providing pioneering Marketing and Advertisement Technologies for Businesses. 

Your job as a Product Quality Assurance Specialist, will help Smartech test new features and improve the quality of our services/products. Your efforts will improve the quality of Smartech’s solutions for the variety of businesses using our products. You will work closely with our product and development teams to improve the quality of the services provided to renowned market players in various industries.

What you will do (Responsibilities):

• Identify test scenarios, edge cases, and common customer use cases to improve the product robustness of testing.

• Create comprehensive testing programs addressing database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, and usability. Also you will Design test plans and procedures, Formulate test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures to ensure thorough testing coverage.

• Review release candidates of the product to test new features and find potential bugs and defects.     

• Assist the Production/Development team in tracking down issues and working out the steps to reproduce them, in order to locate and fix the issues.

• Identify, document, and track defects in a clear and concise manner.

• Contribute and share knowledge of test proficiencies to optimize team effectiveness.

• Aim to continuously improve and evolve our QA processes across the company.

Job Requirements:

• A strong understanding of the software test cycle process, having a technical background is a plus.

• Ability to create repeatable test scripts and collaborate with development teams.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills to help isolate the cause of a defect.

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work concurrently on several projects, each with specific instructions that may differ from project to project.

• Ability to work in a collaborative environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.

• General understanding of cloud products and their affiliated use cases.

• Demonstrated track record in a Quality Assurance Specialist role or similar capacity. 

Experience with automated testing is a plus
