Senior Unity Developer

Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Unreal/Unity Developer with experience in XR development to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating immersive and interactive 3D experiences for the MetaQuest 3 platform. 

Responsibilities

• Design and develop XR applications and experiences for MetaQuest 3.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to bring creative ideas to life.
• Optimize XR applications for the best performance on MetaQuest 3 devices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Unreal/Unity and XR technology.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex problems related to XR development.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices in software development.

Requirements and skills

• Proficient in Unreal/Unity engine, with a focus on XR development.
• Strong programming background and knowledge of C++/C#.
• Strong experience in XR development, particularly with MetaQuest 3 or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling, animation, and graphics optimization in Unreal/Unity.
• Knowledge of VR and AR development principles and user experience design.
• Understanding of shaders and their application in real-time rendering.
• Knowledge of lighting techniques and optimization within Unreal/Unity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of work experience in game development using Unreal/Unity.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Plastic SCM
