Roles & Responsibilities
• To install, configure, test, maintain, and administrate new and upgraded networks, software database applications, servers, and workstations.
• To track and report on the performance of network, system, and application security solutions to highlight areas of non-compliance and inform the development of improved practices and processes.
• To maintain procedures and documentation for network inventory and recording diagnosis and resolution of network IPRAN faults, improvement areas and modifications, and other related instructions.
• To implement network traffic monitoring software to be aware of related areas and track network traffic, activity, capacity, and usage to ensure continued integrity and optimal performance of the IPRAN network.
• To support line manager to ensure that the design of sites allows all components to fit together and work properly, also monitor and adjust the performance of IPRAN networks.
• To continually survey current IPRAN network Topology to determine future needs and devise recommendations for enhancements in the future
• To monitor the IPRAN Network and perform various probes such as debugging, tracking, reproduction, logging, and resolving all identified problems according to approved quality testing scripts, procedures, and processes also record whole the knowledge through KM processes
• To drive the allocation of access privileges of users to ensure appropriate security settings are applied in accordance with organization policies and application owner-defined parameters.
• To select appropriate IP RAN equipment for implementation and maintenance.
• To execute optimization of Backbone, Edge, and Core in IP RAN to improve quality and performance by deep analyzing all bottlenecks and problematic potential areas.
• To perform detailed product and service design to ensure IP RAN service capacity, availability, etc.
• To analyze user's requirements, and design and develop system architecture and specifications accordingly.
• To track IPRAN plans to Ensure that they are delivered on time, with sufficient capacity operating to the required level of service.
• To interface with core transport providers to ensure appropriate IP backhaul delivery mechanisms.
• To plan, organize, execute, control, and coordinate quality-accredited IP projects. Accountable for day-to-day operations of resourcing, scheduling, prioritization, and task coordination, and meeting project milestones, objectives, and deliverables within agreed timeframes and budgets.
• To be involved in planning and designing of Internet Protocol Radio Access Network (IPRAN), Enterprise and Next Generation Network (NGN) to deliver capacity and quality key performance index (KPI)
• To provide technical support to the Service Provider’s vendors and ensure their compliance and performance during the planning and optimizing of IP networks.
• To design and build IP connectivity for external customers, enterprises, and partners and support IP RAN requirements across various Business Units.
• To align with IP Back Bone, TX, and access Teams to provide the best traffic path for Radio Access Network (RAN) traffic.
Education
• BSc. in Telecommunication Engineering / Information Technology or related discipline
Experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an area of specialization, IP Technology (IPRAN Project Engineering or maintenance), planning and optimization experience
• Experience in ATN910/ATN980/NE40X8/Er6672 and Er6675 product
• Enough experience in IPRAN solution, network structure (MPLS L2VPN/MPLS L3VPN/HOVPN/VPN FRR/IP FRR/Network Slicing) and typical protocols: BGP/OSPF/ISIS/MPLS/SR/IPV6
• Experience with network management, packet inspection, QOS, traffic analysis, performance characterization via SNMP, Syslog and packet capture tools
• To be familiar with IP RAN router security configuration
• Experience working in a medium organization
