Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Management and Outreach:

Utilize provided leads to identify and contact potential sellers who could benefit from joining our platform.
Make outbound calls and initiate conversations with potential vendors to introduce them to our marketplace.

  • Engage and Negotiate:

Effectively communicate the benefits and value proposition of joining our platform to prospective sellers.
Understand the needs and concerns of potential vendors and negotiate terms that align with their interests while meeting company objectives.
Address questions and objections, providing thorough and persuasive responses to encourage vendor sign-up.

  • Sales and Conversion:

Drive the seller acquisition process from initial contact to agreement, ensuring a smooth transition to the onboarding team.
Achieve and exceed acquisition targets and KPIs set by the company.
Track and report on acquisition activities and outcomes, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Relationship Building:

Build and maintain positive relationships with potential vendors, creating a strong foundation for ongoing collaboration.
Follow up with potential sellers who have shown interest but have not yet signed up, addressing any remaining concerns.

  • Collaboration:

Work closely with the Vendor Onboarding team to ensure a seamless handover of new sellers.

Requirements and skills:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or vendor acquisition, preferably in an e-commerce or marketplace environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
