Maintenance Manager

About the job:

As a maintenance manager at Danone, you are providing technical and engineering solutions to improve and maintain continuous machine operation, equipment, and building along with Danone budget management and ensuring the health and safety of people. 

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the maintenance team for the final approval of the PM Plan and ensure the implantation is being carried out in a timely and correct manner, with the required coordination 
• Develop knowledge and capability of the Maintenance team and build a backup plan for the key positions(mechanical supervisor, electrical & automation supervisor, general maintenance supervisor, and maintenance planning supervisor) 
• Develop training programs for the technical team 
• Ensure compliance with all safety principles, and individual and environmental health by the Maintenance team and contractors in addition to bringing up solutions 
• Supervise to provide solutions to improve and maintain continuous machine operation and equipment by performing timely analysis by the technical team 
• Ensure timely ordering of the required spare parts 
• Prepare the list of the imported spare parts, delivering to the purchasing team, and follow up through monthly meetings with the team 
• Prepare OPEX annual list by the annual maintenance schedule and unpredictable breakdowns  
• Prepare annual CAPEX list along with budgeting for the technical department 
• Control and monitor the budget 
• Monitor the correct and timely use of factory resources, including spare parts and equipment to ensure continuous operation of the production line by reducing technical downtime 
• Supervise and implement PM systems (periodic services) on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis, along with quality assessment and considering maintenance interval plan based on 5W1H 
• Ensure that P&ID equipment and machinery maps are up to date 
• Review and present solutions for designing, modifying, and improving technical systems and replacing out-of-work equipment and machines 
• Support the installation and commissioning of new machines and products 
•  Ensure the quality of internally manufactured spare parts and their proper-functionality based on the standards 
• OptimizePMplan by managing PM tasks during production cleaning time 
• A member of the food defense team, food safety, and factory safety along with following up on the actions related to the technical team 
• Project management through SHERPA methodology for implementation(Needs, Project preliminary definition, Project detailed definition, Execution, Ramp-up, Closing) step

 
Qualifications:

• At least a bachelor's degree in Mechanics/ Electronics Engineering, preferably Electronics Engineering
• Minimum5 years of experience as Maintenance/Technical manager in the food industry  
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams through stakeholder management 
• Familiar with MS project and PMBOK, AutoCAD, and Catia 
• Familiar with continuous improvement methods 
• Familiar with problem-solving tools and breakdown analysis 
• Ability of budget management for CAPEX and technical project 
• Familiar with technical modules (pneumatic, power transmission system, electrical, sensors, automation, and software 
• Familiar with the technology of process flow (functionality and calculation for equipment, pumps, and fluid movement) 
• At least upper intermediate in English skills
