Job Description

Mission:

  • To collaborate across teams to maintain correct rating, prevent fraud, and rectify billing issues, safeguarding revenue streams.
  • To support offer creation, test new features, and integrate technical requirements, enabling smooth deployment and revenue enhancement.
  • To conduct periodic checks, generate reports, and escalate discrepancies to guarantee accurate billing and efficient operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To cooperate with the Billing and Charging teams, ITS, NWG, vendors, and CR to ensure integrity of charging and rating systems related actions.
  • To cooperate with the revenue assurance team to control if ratings are implemented correctly and suggest solutions for raised issues by revenue assurance.
  • To cooperate with the fraud management team to prevent potential fraud schemes.
  • To provide full support and coordinate all business projects and operations related to structure of BSS & OSS and charging & Billing system and any relative nodes (such as network nodes, USSD, self-care application, middleware, payment gateway, CRM, third party, vendors).
  • To coordinate and deliver offer creation process (Bolton/Refill/Voucher) from all departments to ensure system runs smoothly and to avoid any duplication and mismatch in the whole system.
  • To recommend solutions on rating/charging system structure and bottlenecks, and redesign processes to ensure the resolution of issues.
  • To control the test of new rate plans, features, and services to ensure they are done correctly and on time before and after migrating to production environment for all products/services.
  • To investigate the charging methodologies with different suppliers to find efficient solution to implement business requirement.
  • To rectify all the issues in the billing and charging system that have been raised from internal and external sources (RA, CR, and CRA) in a timely and accurate manner.
  • To support and implement charging rules on top of Roaming, International, and MVNO retail business.
  • To review logic on all revenue streams to prevent revenue leakage or issues on any services.
  • To assess and report on revenue enhancement to detect or effect analysis of all existing and new products.
  • to collaborate with various MKT teams in their projects, which have a tie in rating systems and implement required changes as a part of the project.
  • To integrate product enhancement requirements with technical specifications such as Billing & Charging system, network design, and handset compatibility to design new products and services.
  • To perform periodic checks and tests of the rating chain to ensure billing integrity, identify issues, and escalate them based on procedure.
  • To generate statistical reports in downstream to investigate mismatches and escalate them based on procedures.
  • To support emergency changes and requests that is decided by MKT management or other departments related to the team.
  • To communicate Compliance with CRA/CRC-Per division (CRA Letter Answering, CRA Complaint, CRA meeting, New Decision, etc.).

Education:

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or related fields
  • Master’s degree is advantageous

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an area of specialization; with experience in supervising others
  • Prior familiarity/experience with operations management principles and ability to carry out multiple and intricate tasks
  • Experience showing extensive knowledge of principles of quality assurance, testing, planning and execution.
  • Knowledge/experience in telecom structure and all relative nodes.
  • Experience working with popular database management tools and languages (SQL, Oracle, etc.).
  • Experience in Database Tables & Relational Structure management
  • Experience in charging telecom systems and billing system
  • Experience in new product design
