Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgable Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the company’s financial affairs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily financial transactions, including invoicing, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle key accounting tasks such as salary processing, tax filings, and insurance-related financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations specific to the shipping industry.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of financial procedures, tax regulations, and payroll management.
• Familiarity with insurance, taxes, and salary processing in a corporate setting.
• Experience with accounting softwares and financial reporting tools.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in the shipping or transport industry is a plus.
