Experienced DBA (SQL Server and Oracle)

We are looking for a seasoned Database Administrator with over 5 years of experience to manage and maintain our SQL Server and Oracle databases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database optimization, performance tuning, and be familiar with data pipelines, SSIS, and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Management: Installing, Administer, maintain, and optimize SQL Server and Oracle databases to ensure their reliability, efficiency, and performance.
• Optimization and Performance Tuning: Identify, diagnose, and resolve performance issues to ensure optimal database performance.
• Data Pipeline Management: Develop, manage, and maintain robust data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow across various systems.
• SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services): Design, implement, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SSIS.
• Python Scripting: Utilize Python for automation and scripting tasks to streamline database management processes.
• Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage database backup, restore, and recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity.
• Security Management: Ensure database security by implementing and maintaining appropriate access controls and security protocols.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to provide database support and ensure smooth integration of database components.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DBA managing SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle database management.
  • Proficiency in database optimization and performance tuning techniques.
  • Experience with data pipeline development and management.
  • Proficient in SSIS for ETL processes.
  • Competency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve database-related issues efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in SQL Server, Oracle, or related technologies are a plus.
