Senior Data Scientist

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

•  Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
•  Utilize common BI toolkits to analyze and visualize data, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
•  Design and conduct online experiments to test hypotheses and improve decision-making processes.
•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
•  Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using advanced SQL techniques.
•  Work with relational and non-relational databases, ensuring data integrity and optimizing query performance.
•  Apply extensive statistical knowledge to perform rigorous data analysis, including statistical tests, distributions, regression, and maximum likelihood estimators.
•  Leverage Python and its libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, StatsModels, Scikit Learn, Seaborn, Matplotlib) for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
•  Explore and implement image processing and natural language processing (NLP) techniques as needed.
•  Stay updated with the latest advancements in deep learning and apply relevant techniques to enhance model performance.

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
•  4+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on classical machine learning and statistical modeling.
•  Proficiency in Python and its libraries: Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, StatsModels, Scikit Learn, Seaborn, and Matplotlib.
•  Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with both relational and non-relational databases.
•  Extensive knowledge of statistics, including statistical tests, distributions, regression, and maximum likelihood estimators.
•  Experience in online experimentation and statistical analysis.
•  Knowledge and experience in image processing and NLP is a plus.
•  Strong understanding of deep learning and experience with deep learning libraries is a plus.
•  Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•  Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
