USO Access TX Planning & Optimization Engineer (Vendor)

Mission:
Responsible for establishing, planning, and optimizing the appropriate access transmission infrastructure, in line with the defined transmission topology plan and technology capabilities.
Deliver the required access capacity in time and at the required level of service, coordinating the various regional developments.
Monitoring all MW links performance, alarms, MW parameters, availability, and peaking up the links with more than 70% utilization.
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
Monitors performance of access transmission network and multiple turnkey vendors.
Interface with providers of leased capacity to ensure successful operational integration of access transmission network.
Point-to-Point (Microwave, E-Band, V-Band) and Point-to-Multipoint link planning, implementation and optimization
Optimize Access transmission network to enhance its capacity, availability, and performance
Access network provision, expansion, and optimization through the PDH, SDH, IP/MPLS leased lines considering radio and managed services requirements
Physical-connection/cross-connection service planning and optimization of the access transmission network
Plan to deliver aggregation service creation based on the node requirements to meet network requirements
Monitor and Guide the planning, optimization, and implementation programs of turnkey .providers (such as the delivery of physical connectivity according to topology and access plan) for the regional access transmission network.
Ensure adherence to appropriate build specifications for all microwave and fiber deployments in the access network.
Ensure highly available access transmission routes to maximize network KPIs.
Adherence to budget for related both capital and operational expenditure and provide Opex Saving initiatives.
Provide proper solution for problematic sites and follow them.
 

Job Requirements:
BSc Degree or Equivalent Technology(Electronic / Telecommunication)
Minimum of 3 years’ experience an access transmission planning, optimization and implementation environment
Experience working in a medium organization
3 years working in Thorough grounding in the requirement of a GSM network in terms of all transmission requirements
Experience in a rapid roll-out environment and management of turn-key vendors
Fluent in English
