Network Security Software Engineer

Mission
·       To design, develop, and install network security software solutions and monitoring systems.

·       To develop and maintain various systems for monitoring and measurement of different NW criteria regarding requirements of law obligations and regulator demands.

·       To support national authentication platform issues and communicate between channels.

·       To support various business teams with data captured from deep layers of NW to monetize existing data and provide related APIs.
Roles & Responsibilities
·       To execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) to ensure functionality for NW Security Apps.

·       To develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify NW security requirements and propose solutions.

·       To provide NW security software specifications, determine operational feasibility, and provide well-designed and testable codes accordingly.

·       To integrate NW security software components into a fully functional software system to optimize the use of NW security software.

·       To develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.

·       To troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems with the latest features to comply with project plans and industry standards and ensure regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.   

·       To deploy NW security programs and evaluate user feedback to enhance overall network security posture while optimizing user experience.

·       To develop various NW security platforms to capture NW data in different layers to support related queries from governmental institutes and also internal purposes.

·       To design, develop, and implement web services integration based on CRA demands.

·       To maintain and enhance existing data/API platforms in various NW layers to ensure uptime of services.

·       To automate internal processes developed for data acquisition to expedite customer queries.

·       To prepare and provide API GW reports daily for target groups.

·       To monitor license usage of Data Mining software and ensure optimum usage of the license.

·       To chair meetings with various stakeholders e.g., MKT, EB, S&D, LR, etc. to gather their requirements to develop new features related to NW Security apps.

·       To troubleshoot service issues and coordinate with the support team to streamline deployment.

·       To study and stay abreast with best practices in DB development and different mining solutions to decrease vendor dependability.


Job Requirements
 

Education:
·       Bachelor Degree in Technology Systems (Telecommunication Management / Information Technology) or related 

·       Fluent in English
 

Experience:
·       Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a area of specialization; with experience in supervising others

·       Experience working in a medium organization
