Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Data Analytics Team Lead to oversee our analytics team and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will be responsible for managing analytics projects, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights that support our product strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of data analysis projects, ensuring alignment with product goals and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify data needs and prioritize analytics initiatives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and product insights.
- Conduct advanced analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for product enhancement and user engagement.
- Champion best practices in data management, analysis, and visualization across the organization.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to the Chief Product Officer and executive leadership team.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform analytics strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics or a related role, with at least 1 year in a leadership capacity.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and advanced analytics techniques.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with product development processes and Agile methodologies is a plus.
