Ceph Storage Expert

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing the Ceph cluster structure based on the provided requirement
• Receiving Ceph-based service request and presenting it to the customer
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of existing Ceph clusters (RedHat Ceph storage 4,5,6), such as adding servers and disks, or replacing and repairing servers and their components so that the service provided is not disrupted.
• If necessary, launch new Ceph clusters in different sites
• Documentation of events 

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Linux up to LPIC2
• At least one year of work experience in Ceph field and work experience with various Ceph-based services (object, RBD, Cephfs)
• Familiarity with the concepts of automation (ansible) and working experience with it 
• Familiarity with container concepts and work experience with at least one type of container runtime
• English language level – Intermediate to advanced
• Familiarity with monitoring tools
• Team work
