Associate Product Manager

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Product Manager to play a key role in refining and enhancing our product, ensuring it meets market needs and exceeds user expectations. This job is fully remote.

Responsibilities:
1. Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct interviews, web searches, and other research to improve understanding of competitors, market gaps, and opportunities. Support refinement of product-market fit by providing actionable insights.
2. Product Roadmap and Task Management: Collaborate with the team to translate the technical vision into a clear, actionable product roadmap. Break down larger goals into smaller tasks, ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines.
3. Agile Project Management: Manage sprint planning, backlog, user stories, and task prioritization to ensure smooth project execution. Track team performance using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and proactively address roadblocks.
4. Team Coordination and Communication: Serve as a central point of coordination between team members, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities. Facilitate communication across technical and non-technical teams.
5. User Feedback and Iteration: Collect and analyze user feedback to inform product improvements. Incorporate insights into product iterations to enhance user experience and market relevance.
6. Business Development Support:  Assist in improving business plans, pitch decks, and presentations.
Help with negotiations and communications with potential partners, investors, and customers.
 
Mandatory Qualifications
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Proven Agile Project Management Experience:
Proven experience conducting market research, analyzing competitors, and identifying market gaps.
Ability to synthesize data and provide actionable insights.
Experience in facilitating team meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Familiarity with creating business plans, pitch decks, and presentations.
Experience negotiating with partners, investors, or customers.
 
Nice-to-Haves
These qualifications are not required but will give candidates a competitive edge:
MBA degree or equivalent advanced business education.
Certifications in Agile (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster or Product Owner), project management (e.g., PMP), or product management.
Previous experience with AI-related startups.
Proficiency in French or German.
