Senior Python Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Take technical ownership of our platforms, improving availability, fault tolerance, and performance under high load
• Contribute to a multi-year modernization initiative, balancing live production stability with strategic refactoring
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical direction and system architecture

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience using Python and its ecosystem, including frameworks such as Django and FastAPI
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MS SQL
• Strong understanding of asynchronous and parallel programming concepts (e.g., asyncio, Celery, race-condition mitigation)
• Hands-on experience with messaging and caching technologies such as Kafka and Redis
• Proven experience designing, building, and scaling microservices and distributed systems in production environments
• Experience with performance optimization and bottleneck identification in high-throughput systems
