Help Desk Specialist – Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems (client and server) and application software.
• Set up, maintain, and support computer hardware, including diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
• Assist with network setup and support (cabling, rack organization, and basic troubleshooting of connectivity issues).
• Configure and support network devices such as routers, switches, and access points (e.g., MikroTik).
• Provide support for CCTV systems and PBX (telephone systems).
• Manage and support basic virtualization environments and virtual machines (VMs).
• Install and maintain office equipment such as printers and scanners.
• Support Microsoft services including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP (user management and basic administration).
• Deliver technical support to end-users via phone, remote access, or on-site.
• Monitor and maintain antivirus systems and ensure endpoint security.
• Track and manage IT assets assigned to users.
• Document issues, solutions, and system configurations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, hardware, and basic networking
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft environments
• Experience with network devices (e.g., MikroTik) and office equipment support
• Basic understanding of virtualization and security (antivirus systems)
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, MCSA, MCSE, Network+, A+) are a plus
• Familiarity with Linux is an advantage
• Strong communication skills and a user-oriented mindset
