Job Description
Role Purpose
1) Department Goals & Performance Management
- Join Mofid’s Business & Strategy team to support strategic planning, performance management, and data-driven decision-making across the business.
- In this role, you will help define measurable departmental objectives, develop KPI and OKR frameworks, analyze key business performance drivers, evaluate the financial viability of projects and initiatives, and support the execution of strategic priorities.
1) Department Goals & Performance Management
- Partner with department heads to define annual and quarterly targets across growth, productivity, customer activity, and operating efficiency.
- Design, monitor, and maintain a structured KPI and OKR framework to track performance against targets.
- Identify the key drivers behind performance changes and work with teams to define corrective actions.
- Analyze business performance, including platform activity, traded value, customer activation, and other relevant business drivers.
- Develop forecasting, scenario, and sensitivity models to support business planning and management decisions.
- Analyze trends and variances and present clear, actionable insights to senior management.
- Evaluate the financial and business viability of new platform capabilities, product development initiatives, customer activation and retention programs, and cost-efficiency projects.
- Develop business cases covering expected benefits, costs, risks, and resource requirements.
- Conduct ROI, payback period, what-if, and scenario analyses.
- Review the actual results of implemented initiatives against their original objectives and assumptions.
- Support the translation of strategic priorities into measurable initiatives, targets, owners, and milestones.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, particularly Product, Marketing, Customer Support, and Business Development.
- Help teams connect their activities and projects to measurable business outcomes.
- Constructively challenge assumptions and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Build and maintain structured, scalable, and auditable dashboards and analytical models in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Work with Data and BI teams to improve data quality, metric consistency, and reporting efficiency.
- Use SQL and available data sources to support business analysis and performance reporting.
- Prepare management-ready reports and presentations focused on insights, implications, and recommended actions.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in FP&A, business analytics, business performance, strategy, product analytics, business operations, commercial finance, or business development.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand business models, customer behavior, and operational performance drivers.
- Experience in designing KPIs, evaluating projects, or developing business and financial models.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Working knowledge of SQL is strongly preferred.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Knowledge of Python for data analysis or automation is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving business environments.
- Ability to read and interpret professional English-language business and analytical materials.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Engineering, or another relevant quantitative or business-related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in brokerage or capital markets is not required; however, the ability to quickly understand digital business models, customer behavior, and business performance drivers is essential.
