Qualifications and Competencies

Personal and Professional Attributes

• Genuine and long-term interest in working with young children (ages 3–6)
• Patient, kind, responsible, and reliable
• Ability to build a sense of emotional security and a healthy relationship with children
• High energy level, well-organized, and committed to teamwork

Child Psychology Knowledge and Skills

• Basic understanding of child development, emotional growth, and behavior
• Ability to respond thoughtfully to common childhood challenges such as separation anxiety, emotional distress, or resistance during activities
• Awareness of individual differences among children and respect for each child’s developmental pace
• Strong observation skills and the ability to understand children’s behavior in a professional and empathetic manner
• Strong interest in learning and ongoing development in child psychology and positive educational approaches
• Educational background in child-related fields (Child Psychology, Psychology, Education, Early Childhood Education) is considered an advantage

Language and Educational Skills

• Good command of the English language (at least fluent spoken English)
• Familiarity with natural, play-based approaches to early language exposure
• Ability to incorporate English through play, songs, storytelling, music, movement, and creative activities
• Previous experience in kindergartens or bilingual environments is a strong advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting and guiding children through daily kindergarten routines in a bilingual setting
• Creating a safe, joyful, and motivating environment that supports children’s emotional, social, and language development
• Using English naturally during play and daily activities
• Observing, documenting, and reporting children’s progress and behavior
• Building professional and empathetic relationships with parents
• Collaborating closely with the educational team and supervisors
