Key Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers to drive revenue and cargo volume growth.
Develop and execute business development initiatives to expand the company's customer base and market presence.
Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with freight forwarders, importers, exporters, wagon owners, rail operators, and other relevant logistics providers.
Develop and leverage a strong network within the logistics and transportation industry.
Identify customer needs and develop appropriate commercial solutions.
Lead sales discussions, negotiate commercial terms, and prepare proposals and business offers.
Manage the sales pipeline from initial prospecting through negotiation and conversion.
Proactively identify new market segments, business opportunities, and potential revenue streams.
Monitor competitors, market developments, and industry trends to identify commercial opportunities and risks.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver solutions aligned with customer requirements.
Track business development activities and contribute to commercial performance reporting.
Continuously seek opportunities to increase existing customer volumes and develop new revenue opportunities.
Requirements:
3 years of relevant experience in the Terminal, Rail, Intermodal Transport, Logistics, or related sectors.
Established network and strong relationships within the logistics industry.
Proven ability to identify, approach, and win new customers.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, importers, exporters, wagon owners, rail operators, and other logistics stakeholders.
Strong negotiation and commercial communication skills.
