About the Role
In Azki, we're looking for a Senior Golang Developer to join our engineering team and help build and improve the backend systems behind our products.
In this role, you'll take ownership of technical solutions from design to production, collaborate with different teams, and contribute to building scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems. We value engineers who are thoughtful about technical decisions, care about code quality, and enjoy solving complex problems.
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go
• Contribute to technical design, architecture, and key engineering decisions
• Build and maintain APIs and integrations with internal and external services
• Work with databases, caching, and asynchronous processing systems
• Improve the performance, scalability, reliability, and security of our services
• Write tests, review code, and help maintain high engineering standards
• Monitor production systems and investigate issues when they arise
• Collaborate closely with product, QA, frontend, and other engineering teams
• Share knowledge and support the growth of other engineers

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong hands-on experience in Go
• Solid understanding of software design, architecture, and scalable backend systems
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Good understanding of concurrency, asynchronous processing, caching, and distributed systems concepts
• Experience with testing, Git, and modern development workflows
• Familiarity with containers, CI/CD, monitoring, and production environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of technical challenges

Nice to Have:
Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or OpenShift
Familiarity with Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or similar observability tools
Experience with event-driven systems or third-party integrations
Familiarity with secure software development practices
Experience using AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully and effectively
