Chemistry Instructor
International Medical and Health Sciences Admissions Preparation

Are you passionate about teaching Chemistry?

Would you like to help international students gain admission to Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, and Allied Health Sciences programs across Europe?

We are looking for a dedicated Chemistry Instructor to prepare students for one or more international admission exams and university health-science pathways.

Applicants are not expected to teach every exam and may apply for specific countries, examinations, or Chemistry modules.

Relevant Exams and Pathways May Include:

• Germany: Studienkolleg M-Kurs and Feststellungsprüfung (FSP) Chemistry, where required
• Spain: UNEDasiss PCE Chemistry, according to the requirements and subject weightings of the target university
• Italy: IMAT Chemistry; Chemistry and Biochemical Foundations examinations within the Italian Semestre Aperto; CEnT-S Chemistry for Pharmacy and other scientific programs where required
• France: Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biochemistry modules within PASS/LAS, including preparation for university-specific assessments
• Chemistry requirements for other European medical, dental, pharmacy, biomedical, and allied-health programs
• Please note that UCAT and TR-YÖS do not contain separate Chemistry sections. Chemistry preparation for UK or Turkish applications would therefore relate to academic, foundation, or university-specific requirements rather than those tests themselves.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Chemistry according to the current syllabus of the assigned exam or university pathway
• Cover relevant topics such as atomic structure, chemical bonding, stoichiometry, solutions, acids and bases, equilibrium, redox reactions, thermochemistry, electrochemistry, organic chemistry, and basic biochemistry
• Prepare structured lesson plans, original practice questions, calculation exercises, and mock examinations
• Help students develop scientific reasoning, quantitative analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Connect Chemistry concepts to medical, biological, dental, and pharmaceutical applications where relevant
• Assess student performance and provide clear, personalized feedback
• Develop targeted study plans based on individual strengths and learning needs
• Stay informed about changes to official syllabi, exam formats, and admission requirements
• Conduct engaging online or in-person classes

Requirements:

• Strong academic background in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Medicine, Chemical Sciences, or a related field
• Previous teaching, tutoring, or exam-preparation experience is preferred
• Familiarity with at least one of the listed exams or pathways
• Ability to explain complex chemical concepts and calculations clearly
• Proficiency in the language required for the assigned course or exam
• German, Spanish, French, or Italian proficiency is an advantage, depending on the pathway
• Excellent communication and teaching skills
• Responsible, organized, reliable, and committed to student success
