Utility Executive

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
The Utility Executive directs and manages the overall operation of utility equipment and distribution of utilities (steam, chilled water, natural gas, domestic water, electrical systems, sewer systems, etc.), and the maintenance of these systems within all factory-owned properties and the Energy Management Program.
Provide the best environment for employees to maximize their contribution to the achievement of the company objectives.

Accountabilities:

• Manage all utilities across 3 shifts a day and 7 days a week to meet all requirements of safety, production, and office work.
• Ensure that the factory is provided with required utility supplies at the right time and cost (electricity, water, gas, refrigeration, compressed air, etc.).
• Control the consumption of utilities and take steps to prevent losses and improve yield.
• Examine the performance yield of factory utility equipment by analyzing breakdown, repair, and overhaul data; take necessary measures and propose improvements.
• Maintain correct stock levels for utility spare parts and other items under the control of the technical stores.
• Ensure that safety procedures are understood and strictly followed, and that all external resources working in the facility are trained on BVT EH&S standards and comply with them.
• Ensure a comprehensive maintenance plan is in place for all utility equipment, with proper execution and full compliance to the plan.
