The Role

DigiPay is looking for an experienced Senior Legal Manager to lead our legal function and provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance across the organization. This role requires a strong legal background, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to manage legal matters in a fast-paced and evolving fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the legal function across contracts, litigation, and legal collections
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior leaders and business teams
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and other legal documents
• Oversee disputes, litigation cases, and legal recovery matters
• Identify legal and regulatory risks and recommend practical mitigation measures
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to fintech and digital businesses
• Develop and improve legal policies, processes, and internal controls
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external legal advisers, and relevant authorities
• Build a high-performing legal team through effective leadership, coaching, and performance management

Requirements

• University degree in Law; an advanced degree is an advantage
• Strong experience in legal management, preferably within fintech, financial services, technology, or internet-based businesses
• Solid knowledge of Iranian commercial law, contract law, litigation, and legal collections
• Proven experience leading legal teams and managing complex legal matters
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and risk-assessment capabilities
• Commercial mindset and ability to balance legal protection with business objectives
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
• High level of integrity, accountability, and professional judgment
