We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Group Brand Manager to lead the development and growth of a portfolio of pharmaceutical and supplement brands.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing brand and portfolio strategies, managing product launches, leading brand teams, and ensuring the effective execution of marketing plans in close collaboration with Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Distribution, Finance, and other cross-functional departments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop annual and long-term marketing strategies for assigned brands and product portfolios in alignment with the company’s business objectives.
Prepare annual brand plans, sales forecasts, marketing budgets, profit and loss statements (P&L), and product launch plans.
Lead, coach, and develop Product Managers and Brand Managers, ensuring clear objectives, accountability, and high-quality execution.
Monitor the performance, profitability, market share, and growth of assigned brands and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Analyze Amarnameh data, market research, sales performance, competitor activities, customer insights, and marketing expenditures to assess the company’s position in the pharmaceutical and supplement markets.
Ensure marketing resources and budgets are allocated effectively based on brand priorities, market potential, and identified key success factors.
Identify market gaps, portfolio expansion opportunities, and potential new product development initiatives.
Lead the planning and execution of new product launches, including positioning, segmentation, targeting, pricing input, communication strategy, promotional planning, and post-launch performance evaluation.
Develop clear brand positioning, key messages, and communication strategies for assigned products across different divisions.
Oversee the development of scientifically accurate and visually consistent marketing materials, promotional inputs, product literature, and digital content.
Ensure the appropriate design, messaging, visual identity, and quality of all brand-related promotional materials.
Plan and manage promotional activities, including sampling programs, brand-reminder items (BRIs), campaigns, scientific events, and other brand-building initiatives.
Strengthen corporate and product-level brand awareness through appropriate digital marketing platforms and integrated communication campaigns.
Organize cycle meetings, brand reviews, and field-force briefings to communicate marketing strategies and ensure effective field implementation.
Conduct regular field visits and collect feedback from sales teams, healthcare professionals, customers, and other stakeholders.
Monitor the execution of marketing strategies and promotional campaigns, identify performance gaps, and develop appropriate action plans.
Work closely with Sales, Medical and Medico-Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Training, Distribution, Finance, Supply Chain, Design, and Head Office teams.
Ensure all marketing activities and materials comply with applicable pharmaceutical regulations, ethical standards, and internal policies.
Prepare regular performance reports and present strategic recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a Master’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related life-sciences field.
MBA or postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Business Administration is strongly preferred.
A minimum of four years of relevant marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or supplement industry.
At least three years of experience as a Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, or Brand Manager.
Previous experience managing multiple brands, product portfolios, or marketing team members is strongly preferred.
Proven experience in brand planning, budget management, P&L analysis, market research, and product launches.
Strong understanding of the Iranian pharmaceutical and supplement markets.
Excellent leadership, coaching, team-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strong planning, organization, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical capabilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Professional proficiency in English and Persian.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Flexible, adaptable, customer-focused, and results-oriented.
Willingness to participate in field visits and collaborate closely with field sales teams.
Mandatory Industry Experience
Relevant professional experience in the pharmaceutical or supplement industry is mandatory. Candidates without industry-related marketing experience will not be considered.
